Today (actually yesterday since now it's already after 12am) was 1st December 2009. And it's also my NS friend, Wei Cia's birthday. The day before, I was still thinking that I want to wish her happy birthday on the actual day. But as usual, on that day itself, I totally forgotten.
Time has passed so fast. Now thinking back, our camp days feel like just happened yesterday. I still could remember the time we spent lazing in our dorm, Kulim 2, the time we spent at the pondok, singing, chatting and even gossiping.
Now, it's been two years. And in these two years, everyone is busy with their own lives. Sometimes, I do think I'm a rotten friend. I always lost contact with my friends, even best friends at that no matter how we promised to keep in touch.
And this time, I just wished Wei Cia happy birthday in facebook. I really AM a bad friend. Sometimes, I wonder why I treat some of my friends so good and still keep in touch with them but totally make no effort to contact the others.
Today is also the day Shu Ling sms-ed me. We chatted quite a bit. I do miss her a lot. But mostly we just talked BS. I think on Thurs, I called Pui and we talked on the phone for about one and a half hour.
This week feels like a keeping-in-touch-with-your-friends week. Lol. It's been really nice talking to Pui and chatting with Shu Ling. I almost forgot how talkative Ling is and how I could actually tell her things that I couldn't tell other people.
I promise myself that from today onwards, I would try to be a better friend to those who deserve it. And do not bother about those who don't. Lol. Fighting, Kah Mun!!!

Expectations?
Recently, I realised something. If I wake up feeling happy, the rest of the day would suck. If I wake up feeling sad, the rest of the day would be fine. This had happened for quite a lot of times. Everytime I feel happy, my mood would surely be ruined by something or someone. Everytime I feel sad, surely some thing good would happen.
I start to wonder is it all coincidence or is it my expectations? Coz if I'm feeling down, I'll have low expectation on that day and things would of course turn out better than my expectations. And vice versa.
So, should I actually be sad every morning so that I could be happy for the rest of the day? Does it make sense? I myself also not sure about it.

Changes...
A lot of things had happened in these three weeks... Good things, bad things, happy things, sad things. There are a lot of changes and I need to adapt to these changes fast. New classmates, new group members, new group, new tutors, new lecturers.
Sometimes during class, I miss my old classmates. Would imagine how the class will be if they're there. Sure it'll be very silent when the tutor asks questions. Still haven't get used to having so many classmates who will actually ask and answer questions in class.
Last time, we were majority in class. Now, we're minority. No more fun. Miss group 5. DAC 5. Still, I guess it's good that we still managed to meet up with some of them this week. All thanks to them for informing us when they cancel class or finish early. Hope this can continue till the end of adv dip.
Earlier this week, went for my primary school gathering. Met a lot of people that I've never seen for ages. All of them really had changed a lot. Though I think their personalities are still the same. Although we just gathered for about 2 or 3 hours, really had fun listening to them reminiscing our time together. Thanks, Mic for organising this gathering!

First day...
Yesterday was the first day of advance diploma for most of us. Went to college early and college was crowded. Didn't expect to see so many people hovering around TARC. Kinda reminds me of my own first day in tarc, looking for DKD for about one hour.
When we went to DKC for our lecture, we were just asked to fill in the name list. All of us that are from g5 are in group 13 this time (that is if the college doesn't decide to cancel out our group). Even though we had filled in the name list, some of us think that we may not be in the same group as our group has the least people (only 15).
After that, we were free to go home. Some of them went to ask details about ptptn loan and tar loan. Waited for our ex-group members to finish their lecture (aac). Then we just went to jj and sat down in mcd and talked.
Till now, I still think that we're all in the same group. All of us.. Pei Voon, Chai Foong, Pui, May, Ling,... Coz we still manage to see each other quite often for now. But after this week, we'll start tutorials and it's not that easy anymore for us to meet.
Even though there are 8 of us in afa, I don't really feel like I belong there anymore. Next time when we have break, I could not sit with Pei voon and May anymore. I'll have a lot of hesitation.. If I have any problem, I could not tell lion as easily as I could last time. I'll think about a lot of other unnecessary things.
Even so, I really really hope that all 8 of us will really be in the same group. May god bless me..

The unluckiest day...
Yesterday night, there was no water supply and no notice beforehand. Normally when these type of things happen, they'll post notice near the lift to warn us. But no water supply, I could still survive.
Today morning, I wanted to go online but there was something wrong with the computer. It keeps restarting and make me damn pissed. Then around 1.30pm, there was no electricity. Again, no notice beforehand. This, I really really cannot tahan.
Without electricity, I couldn't do anything. At first, I wanted to take a nap but it was too hot. Then with no electricity, I couldn't watch tv, couldn't go online, couldn't even bath. Haihz.. Luckily, around 3.30pm, electricity came back and I could finally do the things I want to do.. Thank god.
Hope the rest of my holiday could be spent in way better than today...

Best Gathering Ever...
If you know me well, you should know that when I'm in a good mood, I love to talk and of course, gossip. Today's the last day for 2DAC5 to meet as a group. After this, all of us will go separate ways and have our own lives.
Today, after the exam, we went to canteen two for the last time and ate there. Gossip a bit here and there. Later, 10 of us went to Times Square together for our last gathering as group 5. We reached there about 12 something. We walked around a bit and started to sit down at benches and talk, talk and talk.
Finally, getting tired of those not-so-comfortable benches, we went to McD. We were there from 2.30 to 4 something, gossiping the whole time. Gossip about who, I couldn't reveal it here. If you want to know, then ask me privately.
Then, Jia Wen joined us and not long after that, Mou left. So, after all, there were 10 of us again. We switched location from McD to Gasoline and continued talking there. Talk about our feelings about each and everyone present. Talked and laughed so much till my cheeks hurt. Some of them talked till they cried and some almost cried. I'm in the almost cried category. Lol...
So, around 8, we finally decided to go home and I think we talked non-stop for more than 7 or 8 hours. There gone our final gathering and it was the best I've ever had. Thank you to all of you that had accompanied me during these two years. Thanks a million!

Removing her from my life???
It's been almost a month since Janice's death. I think I'm quite ok recently. Didn't think of her that much. But everytime I wanted to forward emails, I have to remember to unselect her email address from my favourite contacts. Actually, I could just delete her email address from my favourite contacts but it's like the only thing left of her, the only thing that could remind me of her and in the end, her email address is still in my favourite.
My primary school friends seldom forward emails to me. But today, I received one from Michelle saying how friendship breaks. I had received this email long time ago but this time when I read it, it feels different. Maybe because the situation applies to me and Janice. In the email, I could also see that Mic has forwarded that particular email to Janice too. It made me sad.
I do not want to be unhappy. Yet, I couldn't remove those things that remind me of her because they are the only things I have left of her. What should I do?

Frustration
It's been a long time since I'm really feeling frustrated. This time it's because of the graduation trip that may or may not take place. At first, all of us wanted to go to Redang since it's very famous in Malaysia and a lot of us have not gone to that place before.
But then, no one is willing to take charge of the trip. None of us went to the Matta Fair where we could get a lower price. No one does anything until last week. I told my mother about the trip that we wanted to go but no one's taking charge and my mum told me her friend knows a resort owner in Cherating.
Then, I tried to ask my mother to get some info on Cherating so that we could at least have a back up if the redang trip fails. I told a few friends about this Cherating resort and they seemed interested. Next thing I know, another friend managed to ask her friend who's working in tourism about the redang trip.
So, I asked my mother not to ask around bout the Cherating trip anymore. Then, she told me the price is too high and want to ask bout the Cherating trip. When I got the info, I told them better to make the decision fast as I'm scared it'll be fully booked but still we need to wait until Friday, the day when we have our tutorial class.
Today, our tutorial class ended very early but all of them was busy doing the exercise. Ok, no problem. So I waited. Then, most of them finished the exercise but still some of them have questions to ask. So I waited until everyone's absolutely free and there was just 30 minutes left. Then the sir has to ask those questions and my friend has to answer his questions and provide those useless explanation to him. I mean, he's not even going for the trip, why does he want to know about those tiniest details?
When it's time to make decision, I'm really frustrated. One of them said she's still not sure whether she can make it or not and her other two friends say they'll go if she goes. I mean, all of us are friends, so why can't they go when that one particular friend of them will not go? It's not like they do not know us.
Then, fine. Everything's over and I called my mum to ask her to book the resort on 7-9 May. She said ok. Not long after I reached home, my mum called me and said that the resort is fully booked for weekends until June. So, I asked my mum to ask whether there's any rooms available for weekdays.
I had to send sms to the group leaders to tell them that there may be a problem with the date. Later, my mum said ok, there are rooms available on 11-13 and she had already booked that date. Then, I talked to another friend of mine and she said it's not very convenient for those who actually do not live in KL because they need to come back to KL on Sunday, which is the Mother's Day.
Then, I tried to ask my mother to change the date. Finally, the date has been changed to 12-14. Then I had to sms back all those people and tell them that the date has been changed and ask them to confirm with me on Mon. Some of them even had the nerve not to reply me. I was already very frustrated with the whole thing and not receiving reply from them just made me furious.
I was thinking why am I trying so hard to so-called 'organising' this trip when it's obvious that they (some of them, anyway) don't really care about this trip. Why should I try so hard and be a busy body? Maybe it's just better to mimic some of them. Sitting around doing nothing and when someone presents his or her idea, just ask some questions and criticises them. It's a lot easier than what I'm doing now. Not that they'll appreciate my efforts also.

Couldn't let it go...
It's been three days. I took an hour since I knew about Janice's accident to stop crying. Even then, my mood was still very bad. It's the first time that I remember crying till my eyes got swollen. And unlucky for me, the next day after I knew about that incident, I still had to go for class and I couldn't break down there.
On friday, during my tamadun islam class, I felt like God is playing me. I was trying very hard not to cry and the tutor had to talk about the painful process of dying which reminded me of Janice. At last, I couldn't hide my feelings anymore and I went to talk to Poi Kuan and cried a bit.
After class, I tried to forget the whole thing and be cheerful again. When I reached home, my father told me there was a report about Janice's accident in the newspaper and all my thought to stay happy just vanished.
This morning, my mood was okay. I thought I could put this incident behind me. I even went to the MPH Stock Clearance to stock up on books. When I reached home and had nothing to do, I went online. And when I was online, I just couldn't resist going to Janice's friendster profile. The last time I went to her profile, I saw some people leaving RIP messages there.
This time, I saw Tsen and Cho's comment and it just made me sad again. Everytime I thought I could put this incident behind me, I would realise that actually that's impossible because everything I see now reminds me of her. Maybe it has just became a part of me. I couldn't get rid of those memories and I couldn't just forget her like she never existed in my life (not that I want to).
I'm sure I could be happy again in the future but I would never ever forget this wonderful friend that I once had. The saying that you'll never know what you have until you lost it is absolutely true. There are a lot of regrets in me now and I wished things had been different. Now that she's gone, I know I couldn't go back to being who I was.
Now that I see Cho online, I wanted to console her, to comfort her but I couldn't even do that. This is because I am suffering too. I had never been good at words and comforting other people too. I know she's a thousand times sadder than me because Janice was her best friend while I had drifted apart from her. I really really want to console her but I couldn't find the words. I really really want to know how Janice's funeral went, how did the accident happen, did she suffer a lot but I couldn't bring myself to ask her all those questions.

RIP, Janice...
Janice... one of my closest friends in primary school just passed away today. She was involved in an accident in Ipoh. I heard this news from another friend of mine, Cho about half an hour ago. I was very very shocked when I knew this. This is just too sudden. I managed to call Loke and all she could say is "oh, my god, oh, my god". I was very calm (I felt sad but I didn't cry) when I heard the news. But when I broke the news to Loke, I just broke down. Even though for now i'm not very close to Janice anymore, still it broke my heart. This is the first time my best friend passed away. Her funeral will be held tomorrow morning in Ipoh and I couldn't attend because I still have class tomorrow and I don't have the transportation. Some of my friends are going to Ipoh tonight for her funeral.
Now that all of these had happened, I regretted for losing contact with her. After we went to separate secondary school, we just drifted apart. I still remember there was once (around Form 1 or 2), she and Cho came to my house during the school holiday to give me a surprise visit. Now that I think about it, she actually had tried to keep in touch with me but I was just too busy. Why didn't I try to organise some outings with her? Why didn't I call her just to chat when I was free? Why didn't I chat with her through msn messenger everytime I see her online? I didn't even wish her happy birthday this year (Her bday was earlier this month). Now that she had left us, only I realised all these things that I had not done with her. All that I had left of her is just those memories.
REST IN PEACE, JANICE. We will always miss you.

Terrible person...
Well, actually I'm a person with very very low self esteem and it's very easy for me to feel guilty over the smallest thing. I'm not really good at anything. I admit I'm not that bad in my studies but I do put in effort and there are a lot of people out there who are better than me. I'm not good at sports. No matter what type of sports. Ping pong, tennis, basketball, swimming, bowling, everything.
I'm not sociable. Actually, I'm quite anti-social. If I were to go out with 2 or 3 of my close friends, I'll really enjoy it. I'll join in the conversation, I'll gossip around, I'll complain a bit about my current life. However, now I don't really have the chance to go out with them anymore. We've lost contact. If I were to go out with more than 3 friends, then you could find me brooding at a corner, daydreaming. I wouldn't enjoy myself. I do not like things that normal teenage girls like. Shopping. The only time I enjoyed shopping with my friend was when I was in Form 5 and went out with Kai Li.
I am the type of person who couldn't keep anything inside me. If I am happy, I'll share it with my friends. If I am angry, I'll complain to my friends. And yet, I found myself always be the one complaining. Others never complain to me and it made me feel bad. Why do I have to complain about every single thing that I'm not satisfied with? And yet, I couldn't change myself. I couldn't stop complaining.
It's very easy to make me feel guilty. I'll feel guilty if I do not contribute much to our group assignments, I'll feel guilty if I mistreat other people. This happens very often in my life especially in college. I always feel very bad afterwards if I treated someone I don't like badly. But at that particular moment, that person really irritates me so much that I wouldn't care.
I don't really care or think about the feelings of other people especially those that I do not really think of as a good friend. Once I really dislike even a single thing about that person, then after that I'll really hate every single thing he or she does. When other people do that, I'll be totally fine. But if it's the person I dislike, then I'll be very irritated and it'll be shown on my face. I couldn't keep a poker face. It's very easy to tell what mood I'm in since it's almost always written on my face.
Sometimes, I envy people like Ee Ann for being so perfect. Nice, sociable, good in studies, friendly, has leadership quality, knowledgeable, good in almost everything she does. Why can't I be like that? I guess I'm just who I am. I couldn't change myself no matter how hard I try. Maybe it's fated that in my whole life, I wouldn't be able to be nice to other people.

Exam????
Well, one more week before exam. I don't know why this time I don't feel like studying at all. Everytime I took my books out, I can't study for an hour straight. This time, lots of my friends have started to study early as there is no break between the subjects.
To be frank, I'm actually very worried for my MA and FM. Other subjects still ok-lah. This time will be my last exam for diploma in accounting. After this exam, we'll only have 7 more weeks to go before separating. Actually I love 2DAC5 and I'll be very sad to leave this behind. Sweet, sweet memories. Lots of gossip, fun, laughter and even quarrels. Nothing is perfect in this world, ne? However, I really really think this group will be the best group I could ever have.
Reminiscing my time in 2DAC5, I had a very very good time with almost everyone (Read: ALMOST)... Lol.. In this period of time, I did a lot of things that I regretted and also a lot of things that I enjoyed. Just hope that in the future, we'll keep in touch (though I always say this sentence, I am the one who never bothered to keep in touch) and we'll all be a better person.
